Graphics pages

Use the Graphics Editor to create graphics pages for viewing in Diagrams.

Graphics Pages can be created as part of a Power Operation user project. Graphics Pages can be created, saved, or stored in other file directories independently of user projects.

To better leverage the Equipment view, the Bindings view, and the Advanced One-Line Connection Debugger tools, create graphics pages within a user project TGML folder with the following specifications:

  • A project created in Power Operation Studio. Confirm PLS_Include is added as an included project. For more information, see Add a project using Project Setup.
  • Equipment and tags added to the project using Profile Editor and I/O Device Manager workflows. For more information, see Define Device Type Tags.

The project does not have to be compiled in Power Operation Studio.

TIP: When backing up and restoring a project, confirm that "Include Subdirectories" is checked so that your TGML folder contents, such as graphics and advanced one-line configuration are included.

Prerequisites:

Before adding a graphics page:

  • Create a project in the Profile Editor.
  • Add a project with the same name to Power Operation; add at least one cluster, network address, and server.
  • Confirm the project is set to Active Project.
  • Export the project from the Profile Editor.
  • Use the I/O Device Manager to add devices to the project.
  • Compile the project.
