The Inverter Enable function has been designed for a defined lifetime that does not require to verify the safety-related function, nor any specific maintenance requirements. After this lifetime has elapsed, a statement about the Inverter Enable function cannot be made due to the aging of the component. If you want to ensure the functional safety after this period, you need to replace the device that includes the safety function.
