NOTE: Since the 6 x 24 Vdc terminals are interconnected and the fuse is between the clamping points and the internal I/O supply, the clamping potentials when using an external supply are not short-circuit protected. Thus, in the case of an external supply the respective 24 Vdc clamping points must be secured by using an external fuse.
