Fieldbus Combinations PacDrive LMC Pro

General

The PacDrive LMC Pro is equipped with a NetXchip onboard which can be operated with two independent field bus protocols. Only one Ethernet field bus can be used. Via the two optional module slots of the PacDrive LMC Pro, further field busses can be used. They can be equipped with the optional modules OM-P, OM-C, OM-NE .

The following field bus combinations are possible:

In this way, the PacDrive LMC Pro can for example be used with the following field bus combinations:

oCombination 1: one PROFIBUS onboard with a second PROFIBUS (option 1) and an Ethernet field bus (option 2)

oCombination 5: one PROFIBUS and one Ethernet field bus onboard with two other Ethernet field buses (option 1 and option 2)

Option 1 and option 2 can be implemented either via the right or via the left optional module of the controller.
