Structure Editor - Operating Modes Pool
In the operating modes pool, you can set different operating modes for every module such as manual, auto, and so on. Each operating mode behaves like a command that can be called up from the node module. If this module is the MainMachine, the operating mode can be called up via the HMI.
When creating an EDESIGN project, an operating modes pool incl. Command list is created by default for the MainMachine in the Structure editor.
When adding a Module group in the Structure editor or Module structure, an operating modes pool incl. Command list for the Module group is created also by default. For individual axes, an operating modes pool can be created.
Every module can have several operating modes. The possibility of switching between operating modes is indicated by arrows in the operating modes pool. The switch-over between operating modes can be modified. This means, it can be defined, to which target state in the target operating mode shall be switched to.
When double-clicking an arrow, the editor of the respective Operating mode transition opens.
Set as Starting Operation Mode
The starting operating mode in the operating mode pool is by default displayed in green.
Using the menu command Set as starting operating mode in the shortcut menu you can define a new operating mode to be first.
