Project Localization > Create Localization Template...
The Project > Project Localization > Create Localization Template... command opens the Create Localization Template dialog box. It allows you to select the textual information that will be exported from the project to the localization template. The localization template is saved in a portable object template (*.pot) file.
Create Localization Template Dialog Box
The Create Localization Template dialog box contains the following elements:

Names |
Texts, such as dialog titles and object names in the Devices tree are exported to the localization template. |
Identifiers |
Variable identifiers (for example, Counter) are exported to the localization template. |
Strings |
Strings are exported to the localization template. Example: 'count' in the declaration: strVar: STRING := 'count'; |
Comments |
Commenting texts in the POUs are exported to the localization template. |
Position information |
If any text of the text categories selected above appears several times within a project, define which positions should be indicated in the localization template by the position information. The position information is included in the first line of a translation segment in the localization template, for example: #: D:\Proj1.project\Project_Settings:1 The following options are available: oAll: All detected positions of the text are indicated in the position information. oFirst appearance: Only the position in the project where the text appears for the first time is indicated in the position information. oNone: No position information is saved in the localization template. |
Create |
Click the Create button to open the Windows dialog box for saving a file. Enter a file name, browse to the storage location, and click Save to save the localization template to a text file of type *.pot. NOTE: Each time you click the Create button, a new localization template file is created. |
