EtherCAT - PROFINET IO Device Terminal EL6631_0010
CODESYS supports the EL6631_0010 device from Beckhoff, which provides a gateway from EtherCAT to a PROFINET IO device. After adding the gateway below the EK1100 EtherCAT coupler, you can configure it like an ordinary EtherCAT slave.
When you add the gateway, a PROFINET IO device node is inserted automatically. This PROFINET IO device functions like a standard PROFINET IO controller.

You insert the PROFINET IO modules below the PROFINET IO device. In the editor dialogs, you can set the typical PROFINET IO parameters and I/O channels.
