The controller application implements the email client for sending and receiving emails. By using the visualization, with the Logic Builder within the EcoStruxure Machine Expert software the email client can be controlled and monitored. The following features are supported:
Manual control:
oCreation of an email and sending it
oTriggering of two different events for the automatic creation and sending of an email
oChecking if new emails are available
oDownloading of new emails including their attachments from the server
oDeletion of unwanted emails on the server
Auto processing of email communication:
oCyclic check if new emails are available
oDownload and process of new emails one by one
oDeletion of emails from undefined senders or non-supported content
oCreate and send of a response dependent on the content of the email
