Main Editors and Dialogs - Assigned Devices of the Devices Tree

Introduction

If you drag a module from the Module templates into the Structure editor, the required devices are automatically appended to the Devices tree according to the module description.

The assignments of these modules and devices are displayed in this editor where they can be changed.

Module View

In the Module view of the editor Assigned devices of the devices tree the following is displayed:

oA list of the modules of the application

oThe assigned devices for every module (drive, encoder, sensor ...)

oWhether a module has reading or control access to a device

In the Module view, you can change the device assignments.

NOTE: The command Edit > Undo/Redo in the Module view can be used to undo or redo a changed device assignment. This command is only available in the offline mode.

Devices View

The Devices view is the exact reversed view of the Module view.

A list of the devices with the assigned modules is displayed.

This view is only an overview. You cannot make any settings here.
