NOTE: (1) For XBT GT and XBT GK, the LCD display’s contrast STN color and monochrome models may decrease when displays are used for hours at over 40°C (104°F) ambient operating temperature. After the temperature returns to normal, the display’s contrast will be restored to normal. The unit’s operation will not be affected even though the display’s contrast is reduced.
Do not store the HMI unit in an area where the temperature is lower than that recommended in the unit's specifications. Doing so may cause the LCD display's liquid to freeze, which can damage the LCD. Also, if the storage area's temperature becomes higher than the specified level, the LCD's liquid may cause irreversible damage to the LCD:
|
STORAGE AND OPERATION OUTSIDE OF SPECIFICATIONS |
oStore the unit in areas where temperatures are within the unit's specifications. oDo not restrict nor block the unit's rear-face ventilation slots. |
Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury or equipment damage. |
Do not operate or store the unit where chemicals evaporate, or where chemicals are present in the air:
oCorrosive chemicals: Acids, alkalines, liquids containing salt.
oFlammable chemicals: Organic solvents.
|
INOPERATIVE EQUIPMENT |
Do not allow water, liquids, metal, and wiring fragments to enter the HMI case. |
Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury or equipment damage. |
