MEM.FindByte (FUN)

This function of the CAA_Memory.library looks for the first occurrence of " byValue " in "MemoryBlock".

It will return 0, if „byValue“ cannot be found. Else, the position of the first occurrence will be returned.

Input:

pMemoryBlock	DWORD	Address of memory area MemoryBlock
uiLengthBlock	UINT	Size of area MemoryBlock in byte
byValue	BYTE	Byte to be retrieved

Output:

MEM.FindByte

UINT

Position of first occurrence, if existent; 0 else.

Example:

abyMemoryBlockA : ARRAY[0..9] OF BYTE := 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 ;

MEM.FindByte(ADR(abyMemoryBlockA),10,5) = 6
