Object: PROFINET Controller
This tab provides an overview of the topology of a PROFINET network and the neighborhood/peer information for each PROFINET device. The projected data is displayed on the left side, and the actual topology is retrieved and imported for a comparison on the right side. Deviating port interconnections are highlighted.
In order to read the topology information, a valid IP address must be set previously. See the Auto-IP command.
Available only for devices with LLDP support (example: CC B) and all new devices according to the standard Profinet V2.3
This structure is checked every time the controller is switched on. The test leads to an error if it does not correspond to the actual wiring. Using this information, a defective device can be exchanged easily. In online mode, the actual structure is displayed in the right view.

Blink LED |
To identify a listed device by its hardware, select the device and click the Blink LED button. The device should respond by flashing. |
Nominate |
CODESYS tries to set the station name and IP address that were specified for the selected slave. |
