The SQL Gateway allows you to log the activities that are executed on your SQL database. The logged activities are displayed in the tab and can be saved to a file.
You can adapt this function to your individual requirements: From deactivating information messages to filtering the content of the log according to different criteria. These options are described in this chapter.
To activate information messages, select the option
in the tab .Result: Information messages are added to the logged activities displayed in the
tab.To deactivate information messages, deselect the option
in the tab .Result: Information messages are not displayed in the
tab.To add the SQL commands exchanged between the database and the controller via the SQL Gateway to the list, select the option in the tab . This is the default setting.
Result: The SQL commands are displayed in the column of the table in the tab.
To avoid logging SQL commands, deselect the option in the tab .
Result: The column
of the table in the tab is empty.The SQL Gateway allows you to filter the logged activities that are displayed in the tab according to the following filter criteria:

You can use the time stamp of an existing log entry as start or end time. To achieve this, right-click the suitable cell of the column and execute the command or from the contextual menu. The selected time is automatically inserted in the or box. |
To export the log messages displayed in the table of the
tab to a text (.txt) or XML (.xml) file, click the button.To remove the content of the table in the
tab manually, click the button.The content of the table in the
tab is automatically removed every 24 hours. You can adapt this default setting to your individual requirements in the tab. From the list, you can select a time span ranging from to .
