The power consumption of a multi carrier segment is high.

Cause

Solution

High acceleration of several carriers on one segment to a high velocity.

NOTE: An even higher load can cause the internal current monitoring to trip and then lead to the error 8109 DC bus undervoltage.

  • Reduce the acceleration.

  • Reduce the velocity.

  • Reduce the number of accelerated carriers per segment.

  • Distribute the acceleration of the carriers over several segments.
