Function Block Description

The torque on the motor is read from the drive through the fieldbus. The motor torque is proportional to the weight of the load. If the actual torque is greater than the preset maximum value i_wDrvTrqMax, a timer is started. When the time delay expires, the overload alarm is activated. Clearing of the overload alarm allows upward movement of the load.

The overload alarm is only cleared when the absolute value of motor torque drops below the hook torque i_wHookTrq value and the drive is in reverse motion, moving downwards.
