Because of the smaller housing dimensions of the Lexium LXM52 Drive, compared to the Lexium LXM62 Drive, the internal braking resistor is also dimensioned smaller and therefore it also has a lower thermal capacity.
Because it is possible to connect an external braking resistor, an external braking resistor can be used instead of the internal one, if required.
