CODESYS supports the CIFX-PB PC adapter from Hilscher.
Below the PROFIBUS DP master, insert the PROFIBUS DP slaves and modules that you have installed to the device repository by means of GSD import. In the editor dialogs, you set the typical PROFIBUS DP parameters and I/O channels.
Click Scan for Devices to add PROFIBUS DP devices automatically below the PROFIBUS DP master in the device tree.
The CIFX Profibus master firmware (version V2.8.0.0 and later) supports CODESYS Redundancy. In the Redundancy Configuration editor, on the Redundancy Settings tab, on the General subtab, select the Profibus option.
In addition, in the Redundancy Configuration editor, on the Registered Areas tab, add the output data area (%Q) of the Profibus master to the synchronized data area.
