Select MyController in the Applications tree.

Clcik the right mouse button.

Click Add Object > POU.

Result: The Add POU window is displayed.

Enter the appropriate information in the Add POU window.

Click Add.

Select the Libraries tab in the Software catalog and click Libraries.

Select Controller > M218 > M218 PTOPWM > PTO > PTOSimple in the list, drag-and-drop the item onto the POU window.

Look for the function block instance by clicking .

The Input Assistant window appears. Select the variable that you defined during the configuration and confirm.

NOTE: If the function block instance is not visible, verify if the PTO is configured.
