Replacing the Toothed Belt Pulley
You need the following tools to remove the toothed belt pulley:
oSet of hex keys
NOTE: Do not use ball head hex keys. Excessive torque may cause the ball head to break away. A broken ball head makes the removal of the screw difficult.

Perform the following procedures to replace the toothed belt pulley:
oPreparing the replacement of the toothed belt pulley
oRemoving the toothed belt pulley
oMounting the toothed belt pulley

Remove the following components depending on the axis configuration: |

If installed, remove the cover strip and the strip deflectors. |

Remove the toothed belt pulley with bearing (2) as a unit. ![]()

Mounting the Toothed Belt Pulley

Clean both bearing seats in the end block (3). |

Insert the new toothed belt pulley with the bearing (2). ![]()

Mount the circlip (1). |

Mount the toothed belt. |

If applicable, mount the cover strip. |

If applicable, mount the shaft extension. |
7 |
If applicable, mount the motor and/or gearbox. |
