UINT

The ID of the carrier on the track(s).

During the Sercos phase-up, the physical carriers on a track are assigned to the carrier objects (logical carriers) in the Devices tree. The physical carrier with the greatest position value in Sercos phase 4 is assigned the LogicalId = 1. The LogicalId = 1 is then mapped to the carrier object with the ConfiguredLogicalId = 1. In case of a new Sercos phase-up (for example, after controller reboot or for application needs), the carrier IDs (LogicalId) are assigned to the carriers according to the new position of the physical carriers on the track. Therefore, dedicated physical carriers cannot be identified solely by the LogicalId assigned to them.

For more information on the assignment of carrier IDs, refer to the Assignment of Carrier ID in the Multicarrier library.

For helping to prevent collisions, take into account the assignment of logical and physical carriers in your application.

NOTICE
CARRIER Collision
Verify that the mapping of physical carriers corresponds to your application needs.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
