You use alarm groups to structure the management of individual alarms for an application. For the configuration, for each group you insert an Alarm Group below the Alarm Configuration object.
In the editor of the alarm group object, you define the individual alarms of the group with their properties in a table. Each alarm belongs to exactly one alarm group.
In the alarm group editor, you also define settings for the entire group (for example, the archiving type, a shared deactivation variable, and a shared text list).
Note the option of exporting and importing alarms to and from a CSV file (see below).
You can create a hierarchical structure of alarm groups in the device tree with the help of folder elements.
