IO Configuration

 

General

The parameters of the I/O configuration determine which data of the I/O image are exchanged between Safe Logic Controller (SLC) and PacDrive LMC (Logic Motion Controller (LMC)).

NOTE: The data configured in EcoStruxure Machine Expert - Safety must be used; otherwise Sercos cannot run-up correctly. For values of the data type BOOL or ExtBOOL, it is sufficient to use one boolean value per byte.

NOTE: The IO data is only configured once during project download. It can not be modified at runtime.
