Configuring the meter security settings

After you open a SCF file, ION Setup displays the security settings in a Security wizard.

Use the ION Setup Security wizard to complete the following security configuration tasks:

• Disabling and enabling meter configuration options
• Defining lockout and event timeout
• Changing the default password
• Creating and changing user passwords
• Disabling and enabling webpages and time sync sources
• Editing meter access event logging
• Limiting user access

After opening project in CAE, complete the following security configuration tasks:

• Changing the default password
• Modifying user accounts
• Modifying roles
• Manage security settings
