Configuring serial communications settings using ION Setup
Use ION Setup to configure the meter’s serial communications settings.
Prerequisites:
Make sure you have
a unique unit ID for your meter and know the serial network settings
(protocol, baud rate, parity and stop bits).
To configure the meter’s serial communications settings using ION Setup:
- Start ION Setup.
- Open the Setup Assistant for your
device.
- Click Communications > Serial Settings.
- Select Com1.
- Select a setting, and then click Edit to configure the setting to match your communications system.
