Confirming your MQTT connection

Use ION Setup to confirm that you have an active connection with the MQTT broker.

To confirm your MQTT connection:

1. Open ION Setup.

2. Open advanced mode for your meter.

   If prompted, enter the device credentials.

   Tip: To open advanced mode, Ctrl+Select your meter in the Network Viewer.

3. Select MQTT Export Modules.
4. Select MQTT Export 1.

5. Shift+Select Output Registers.

   Status indicates the connection status:

   • True: The meter is connected to the MQTT broker.

   • False: The meter is not connected to the MQTT broker.
