Restarting the meter using the display
You can restart your device using the display to help troubleshoot issues.
Note: The device will be unavailable during the restart.
Prerequisites:

User with security configuration access.
Performing a restart using the display

| ● | Do not use the meter for critical control or protection applications where human or equipment safety relies on the operation of the control circuit. |
| ● | Be aware that an unexpected change of state of the digital outputs may result when the supply power to the meter is interrupted or after a meter firmware or template upgrade. |
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.
To perform a restart using the display:

Open Setup Menu.
Tip: To open the Setup Menu, select
, and then scroll to Setup Menu. -
Scroll to Meter Restart, and then select
. -
If prompted, enter the device credentials, and then select OK.

Select
to confirm the Meter Restart.
Verifying the meter restarted
After performing a Meter Restart, verify that the meter restarted by finding the logged meter restart event.
To find a logged meter restart event using the display:

Select

Use the navigation buttons to scroll to Events, and then select
. -
Select the latest event, and then select
.Tip: The first event in the list is the latest event.

Confirm that the event details includes:

Date
-
Time
-

Note: The date and time event details should match when you performed a the meter restart.
