Sag swell detection settings

Sag swell detection settings

Parameter Values Description
Sag/Swell Enable Enabled, Disabled Specifies if sag/swell detection is enabled.
Swell Limit 100–1000 Specifies the percentage of the nominal voltage that is considered a swell.
Sag Limit 0–100 Specifies the percentage of the nominal voltage that is considered a sag.
Hysteresis See Description

Specifies the percentage difference between the start and end thresholds for a sag or swell event. Hysteresis must be less than the difference between 100 and the Swell Limit or Sag Limit, whichever difference is smaller.

For example, for a device with a Sag Limit of 90% and a Hysteresis of 2%, in a sag event, the sag event is over when the voltage reaches 92%. If the same device has a Swell Limit of 110%, in a swell event, the swell is over when the voltage falls to 108%.

Alarm Priority None, Info Only, Low, Medium, High Select the alarm priority you want to associate with Sag/Swell alarms. To stop an alarm from being displayed without affecting other device features, select Info Only.
Custom Enabled (1–255), Disabled

Turn on Custom to define a specific alarm priority value.

The available Custom priority value range depends on the Alarm Priority:

  • None: Custom is not available.
  • Info Only: 1–63
  • Low: 64–127
  • Medium: 128–191
  • High: 192–255
