Data logging    
Log Depth Depends on available data recorder disk space Specifies the maximum number of entries stored in the output log.
Burst data logging    
Burst Data Logging Enabled, Disabled Enables or disables burst data logging.
Pre-trigger Recording Depends on available data recorder disk space Specifies (in seconds) how many pre-event records to capture in the burst data log.
Post-trigger Recording Depends on available data recorder disk space Specifies (in seconds) how many post-event records to capture in the burst data log.
Total Number of Recordings Depends on available data recorder disk space Specifies how many burst data log sets to store.
Waveform recording    
Waveform Depth Depends on available waveform recorder disk space Specifies the maximum number of waveform records stored on the device.
Waveform Format sample rate × number of cycles Specifies the sampling rate and the number of cycles stored in a waveform record.
Trigger Position Depends on the Waveform Format Specifies the number of cycles to capture before versus after the waveform. Trigger Position can be set by dragging the Pre-cycle–Post-cycle slider bar or entering by a value.
Generate COMTRADE Files Enabled, Disabled

Enables or disables COMTRADE file generation:

  • Enabled: COMTRADE files are generated and stored on the device.

    • Tip: Set Generate COMTRADE Files to Enabled if you want to view waveforms on the device webpages. The device webpages use the COMTRADE files to display waveforms.

  • Disabled: COMTRADE files are not generated.
COMTRADE Log Depth 1–75 Specifies the maximum number of COMTRADE records stored on the device.
