Configure a Sparkplug™ Device

A Sparkplug Device represents a physical or logical device or sensor that is connected to an EoN node on a Sparkplug Broker. The Device provides data using a compliant MQTT version 3.1.1 connection.

You configure the properties of each Sparkplug Device using the fields on the Sparkplug Device configuration Form. The Form has several tabs, some of which contain properties that are common to many database items, and others that contain properties that are specific to Sparkplug Devices.

The topics in this section document the properties that are on the Device tab (see Configure the Properties on the Device Tab).
