This status attribute is only displayed for outstations and other database items that can report whether there is a problem with the protocol that is being used to communicate with the device that they represent.
Possible states: Displays one of the Standard Alarm States.
An entry is logged in the Event Journal if a protocol alarm is raised. The message includes further information about the alarm.
