Configure a Sparkplug™ Edge Node

A Sparkplug Edge Node represents a physical Edge of Network gateway or logical Edge Node on a Sparkplug Broker. The gateway or logical Edge Node is an MQTT version 3.1.1 compliant client application that manages an MQTT session. A Sparkplug Edge Node can be the parent of Sparkplug Devices and/or Sparkplug Points.

You configure the properties of each Edge Node using the fields on the Sparkplug Edge Node configuration Form. The Form has several tabs, some of which contain properties that are common to many database items, and others that contain properties that are specific to Sparkplug Edge Nodes.
