Enable Edge Node

Security permission required to access this pick action: Disable Points

Use this pick action to place a Sparkplug Edge Node In Service. Triggering the action changes the Edge Node's configuration so that its In Service property is enabled and the Edge Node becomes active.

When the Edge Node is enabled, Geo SCADA Expert processes any messages that it receives from that node. This occurs providing that the Broker, Group, and Edge Node database items are In Service and have valid, saved, configuration, and Geo SCADA Expert is able to connect successfully to the broker.

The Enable Edge Node pick action is only available for a Sparkplug Edge Node:

• That is not In Service
• For which your User Account is allocated the Disable Points security permission.
