Geo SCADA Expert provides the ability to modify, insert, and delete historic data. These actions can be performed from Historic Trends (in ViewX and Original WebX) or using the various data access interfaces (such as Automation, SOAP, .NET client API, and OPC HDA).
The Modify History permission defines whether the user or User Group can insert, modify, or delete historic data via any of the above means.
Although this permission is available for every database item, it is only relevant to database points and Master Station Accumulators.
