Count of Published Metrics

Associated with: Sparkplug Publisher database items

This status attribute displays the number of points that are associated with the Sparkplug Publisher database item for which historic data is being published. The metric information for each point appears in the birth messages of the Sparkplug Edge Node or Sparkplug Device with which the point data is being published.

The count increases whenever a new point is added to the Sparkplug Publisher database item. The count does not increase if there is a change in the configuration of a point for which a birth message has already been published. The count decreases whenever an existing point is removed from the Sparkplug Publisher database item.
