Determining modem COM ports

To determine the modem COM port:

  1. Open Windows Device Manager.
  2. Expand Ports (COM & LPT).

    3. The port is listed beside the modem in brackets.

  3. Take note of the COM port value. You will need to enter this value in Notifications Settings. See Configuring SMS Text Notification.
  4. Configure the COM Port with the following values:

Data bits 8
Stop bits 1
Parity None
