Maintaining the Rolls on the Spring Pack of the Lower Arm

Overview

Periodically verify and replace rolls in accordance with the maintenance schedule.

NOTE: Roll wear increases the wear of the springs.

COLLISION OF COMPONENTS

oReplace rolls frequently.

oAlways replace rolls and springs together.

oAfter replacing the rolls, verify them for free rotatability.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

Step	Action
1	Verify whether the rolls can move by more than 0.5 mm (0.0197 in) in radial direction.
2	If the rolls can move by more, replace the rolls and the springs.
