Verify the gearbox by visual inspection for leakages and deposits of dirt on the gearbox output shaft sealing periodically in accordance with the maintenance schedule.

Carefully remove deposits. Use lint-free cloths to clean the gearbox.

NOTE: In case of a leakage, contact your local Schneider Electric service representative.

DAMAGED GEARBOXES DUE TO INAPPROPRIATE CLEANING OF THE GEARBOX

oUse lint-free cloth for cleaning.

oDo not clean dry deposits using compressed air.

oDo not use solvents; for example, trichloroethylene, tetrachloromethane, or hydrocarbons nor sharp-edged objects, emery cloth, or emery paper.

oMinimize the mechanical impacts when cleaning.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
