Modifying roles

Conditions préalables :

• Role Management permissions

• Opening a project in CAE

Use CAE to modify the roles in a project.

You can:

• Create roles

• Edit roles

• Delete roles

  Remarque : You cannot delete roles that are associated with a user account. Pour plus d’informations, see Modifying user accounts.

Creating a role

To create a role:

1. Select Roles.

2. Select Create a New Role.

   Conseil : To create a new role based off an existing role, select a role and then select Duplicate Role.

3. Enter the Role Details details.

4. Select Save.

5. Select the Associated Models and Permissions.

Editing a role

To edit a role:

1. Select Roles.

2. Select the role that you want to edit.

3. (Facultatif) Enter the Role Details details.

4. (Facultatif) Select the Associated Models and Permissions.

Deleting a role

To delete a role:

1. Select Roles.

2. Select the role that you want to delete.

3. Select Delete Role.

4. Select the Yes to confirm the deletion.
