Standards

Use standards to turn on and configure power quality calculations and monitoring based on the following supported standards.

Note: Standards are only available to configure after sag/swell detection is enabled. For more information, see Configuring sag swell detection.

IEC 61000-4-30

Defines how to measure and calculate power‑quality parameters (for example, interruptions and rapid voltage changes) so results are repeatable and comparable across compliant instruments.

Rapid voltage change

A quick transition in RMS voltage between two steady states that does not cross the interruption threshold. Rapid voltage changes are often linked to switching events such as motor starts or capacitor operations.

EN 50160

Specifies the voltage characteristics of electricity supplied by public distribution networks (for example, ranges for voltage magnitude and frequency, and guidance on dips, flicker, harmonics, and unbalance) under normal operating conditions.

IEEE 519

Definitions for harmonic control defining the acceptable harmonic distortion limits at the point of common coupling (PCC).
