Validating the device configuration

Prerequisites:

• Open the device table of contents
• Connect to your device

To validate the device configuration:

1. Select Device State > Validation.
2. Go to Device Configuration.
3. Turn on the items that you want to validate.
4. Select Validate Enabled.
5. Review the Configuration Items that have Issues.

   Tip: For more information about each detected issue, hover over next to the Description.

6. Correct any detected issues.
7. (Optional) To confirm that the detected issues have been corrected:
   1. Select Device State > Validation.
   2. Go to Device Configuration.
   3. Select Validate Enabled or go to an item of interest and then select Validate.
