Last Import Time
Associated with: Sparkplug™ Property Translation Tables
You create the content for the Property Translation Table outside of Geo SCADA Expert and then import the file into the database using the Import Property Translation Table pick action. This status attribute indicates when the Import Property Translation Table pick action was last used to successfully import a file into the selected Property Translation Table.
The status attribute displays one of these values:
-
Date and Time—Displays the date and time of the last successfully completed request to import a Property Translation Table file into this database item.
If a successful import is followed by an unsuccessful import, the time of the last successful import is displayed.
Ensure that the Property Translation Table is associated with the relevant Sparkplug Edge Node or Sparkplug Device before attempting to use the Create Points from Birth Metrics pick action on the Sparkplug Edge Node or Sparkplug Device (see Configure the Properties on the Edge Node Tab, and see Configure the Properties on the Device Tab). The pick action triggers Geo SCADA Expert to create the suite of database points for the Sparkplug Edge Node or Sparkplug Device. Geo SCADA Expert uses the imported Property Translation Table file to determine which point configuration properties it should set on the points as it creates them. For more information, see Create Points from Birth Metrics, and see Use a Property Translation Table to Configure Automatically Created Points.
-
Never Imported—The Import Property Translation Table pick action has never been used to import a Property Translation Table file into this particular database item.
If the last attempt to import a Property Translation Table into this database item did not succeed, look at the Events List to ascertain the issue(s) that occurred. The entries will be assigned the Sparkplug Object Creation Error category (see Alarm and Event Categories that are Specific to the Sparkplug™ Driver).
It is also possible for a file to be successfully imported, but contain errors. This can happen if the file contains valid information, but some of its entries are not applicable to a Sparkplug Property Translation Table (see Create the Content for a Property Translation Table). These errors are logged in the Events List for the Property Translation Table database item into which the file is imported.
