Actual Queue Size

Associated with: OPC UA Subscription items and OPC UA Points

When Geo SCADA Expert requests that an OPC UA server starts to monitor an item, that OPC UA server will respond with the actual values that it is using for such monitoring. This includes values for some of the properties that you can configure on the configuration Form of the OPC UA Subscription or OPC UA Point. The 'Actual...' series of status attributes indicate the values that the OPC UA server is actually using, which might well be the same values as those configured on the configuration Form of the OPC UA Subscription or OPC UA Point.

The Actual Queue Size status attribute indicates the actual value that the OPC UA server is using for this property.

With OPC UA points, this size might differ from the value that is configured for this property on the relevant OPC UA Point Form (see Configure the Queue Parameters).

The Actual Queue Size status attribute only appears on the Status display of an OPC UA Subscription item if that Subscription item is being used to monitor the status of the OPC UA Server (see Configure the URL, Certificate, and Authentication Properties).
