To install Geo SCADA Expert on a client or a server, you need to run the Geo SCADA Expert installer program. This is available from the Geo SCADA Expert ISO image. Your Geo SCADA Expert provider will have supplied you with details about the location from which you should download the ISO image.
To run the Geo SCADA Expert installer:
- Mount the Geo SCADA Expert ISO image.
If Autorun is disabled on the computer, run the Setup Launcher manually from the ISO image.
- When the Geo SCADA Expert screen is displayed, select the Install Geo SCADA Expert option.
The Geo SCADA Expert installer runs.
When you run the Geo SCADA Expert installer, Windows may ask you if you want Geo SCADA Expert Setup to be able to make changes to your computer. Choose Yes to allow the Geo SCADA Expert installation to continue.
When you run the Geo SCADA Expert installer, it checks to see if your PC has the prerequisite components installed.
- If your PC has all of the prerequisite components installed, the Welcome ‘page’ is shown (see Welcome to the Schneider Electric Geo SCADA Expert Setup Wizard).
- If your PC does not have all of the prerequisite components installed, you will be offered the Setup page (see Geo SCADA Expert Prerequisite Components). Once you have made your choices on that page, the Geo SCADA Expert installer will attempt to install those prerequisites before installing Geo SCADA Expert.
For those who prefer to run the installer directly from files on the ISO image, you can use the SetupLauncher.exe file to run the Installation screen shown here. Then select the Install Geo SCADA Expert option on the screen to run the installation wizard. Alternatively, you can expand the ClearSCADA folder on the ISO image and use the Setup.exe file to run the installation wizard for Geo SCADA Expert.
