Point Configuration Error Alarm

Associated with: Sparkplug™ Edge Nodes and Sparkplug Devices

This status attribute reflects the status of the Create Points from Birth Metrics pick action that has been executed on the selected Sparkplug Edge Node or Sparkplug Device. If there is an issue with the latest attempt to run the Create Points from Birth Metrics pick action, the Point Configuration Error Alarm becomes active, to indicate that Geo SCADA Expert was unable to create all of the required Sparkplug Points.

Possible states: Displays one of the Standard Alarm States.

Look at the entries in the Alarms List and Events List from the date and time indicated by the status attribute to ascertain the issues that occurred. The entries will be assigned the Sparkplug Object Creation Error category (see Alarm and Event Categories that are Specific to the Sparkplug™ Driver).

Use the status attribute in conjunction with the Errors When Create Points Last Ran status attribute (which indicates the number of issues that have been detected).
