Python Status Information

The Server Status Tool provides status information that is organized into groups of categories, each of which contains sub-categories. The Python group provides status information about any Python programs for which the program code is stored in the database. The statistics relate to Python programs that the Geo SCADA Expert server is configured to execute. They do not relate to Python programs that you execute by other means outside of Geo SCADA Expert to interact with the Geo SCADA Expert database.

The Python group contains the following sub-categories:

• Summary—Provides status information about the Python executable that the server uses to run the Python programs.
• Programs—Provides status information about the Python programs that are currently running or are queued waiting to run.
• Longest Running—Provides status information about the Python programs that run for the longest time.
• Most Frequently Run—Provides status information about the Python programs that the server executes the most often.

By default, the latter two categories display statistics for up to 10 Python programs. You change adjust this quantity if required (see Define the Program Limits on the Server).
