Configuring Ethernet

Ensure you maintain sufficient access to communicate with and configure your device.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in loss of access to the device.

To configure Ethernet:

Select Basic Setup > Communication > Ports > Ethernet.
Enter your Ethernet settings.
Turn off unused communication ports.
Change the default port number for protocols that are in use. Non-default port numbers help reduce port predictability.
Tip: Select a port number table cell or select to change a port number.
Select Save Working Copy.
Synchronize changes.
