Digital outputs

Digital outputs are often used in switching applications. For example, sending on/off signals to capacitor banks, generators, or other equipment.

Other applications for digital outputs include:

• Demand synchronization: the device sends pulses to the input of another device to control its demand period.
• Energy pulsing: a receiver determines energy usage by counting the kWh pulses coming from the device’s digital output.
