Configuring digital input and output labels

You can configure the digital input and output state output labels and the labels used to indicate the hardware port's state.

For example, if you are using a digital input to monitor the state of a circuit breaker, you may want to change the labels to:

• Output Label: Breaker status
• On Label: Closed
• Off Label: Open

Prerequisites:

• Open the device table of contents

• Connect to your device

To configure a digital input or output label:

1. Select Basic Setup > Inputs and Outputs > Digital.
2. Go to the input or output that you want to edit.
3. Under Actions, select .
4. Enter the Output Label, On Label, and Off Label.
5. Select Save.
6. Select Save Working Copy.
7. Synchronize changes.
