Enable TLS Logging
Associated with: Channels on advanced drivers
Security permission required to access this pick action: Diagnostics
This pick action is only available on TCP/IP channels on which TLS is enabled and configured, and on network-connected channels.
Use this pick action to enable TLS logging on the selected channel. When enabled, Geo SCADA Expert logs the TLS communications that occur on the channel, including any TLS-related data that is discarded by the driver. For more information, see Enable or Disable Communications Logging on a Channel, and see Communications Logging in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Server Administration.
TLS logging on a channel logs different information to the Transport Layer Security logging option on a driver (see Common Advanced Driver Log File Options).
TLS logging on a channel is not enabled by default. Before enabling such logging, ensure that enough disk space is available to store the log files that will be produced. Use the Disable TLS Logging pick action once you no longer require TLS logging on the channel.
The Logging system color indicates whether Communications, I/O, TLS logging, or Telnet monitoring are enabled on a channel. The TLS Logging status attribute indicates a channel’s current TLS Logging status.
