Time synchronization
The device clock is adjusted by synchronizing its time with another time source.
You can configure your device to receive time synchronization messages from external sources such as a:
- Network Time Protocol or Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP/NTP) server.
- Precision Time Protocol (PTP) leader.
- Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver.
You can also manually send a time synchronization message to the device from your operating system.
